What are the applications of thermal cracking oil obtained from waste tire pyrolysis?
The pyrolysis oil of waste tire is directly burned as fuel. Because the pyrolysis oil is wide range oil, it is cut into light fraction, medium fraction and heavy fraction after distillation. Different processing schemes can be determined according to the characteristics of each fraction, so that the value of pyrolysis oil of waste tire is improved.
1) Light fraction (initial distillation point ~204 C)
The light fraction can be hydrorefined to remove sulfur and oxygen in the fraction to extract aromatic hydrocarbons and limonene, and then further refined to obtain a chemical product BTX and limonene.
Limonene is used for cleaning circuit boards. If it can be properly used, the added value of waste tire pyrolysis oil can be reasonably increased.
2) Medium distillate (204~350 C)
The medium fraction can be used as blending component of low freezing point diesel oil after hydrotreating.
3) Heavy fraction (>;
350 C)
Heavy fractions can be used as fuel oil for diesel generators, engines, heavy machinery, boiler heating, etc.
You can also get bitumen as a product.
