SH8019B Practical colloid tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the national standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 8019-2008 "Determination of fuel colloid content by jet evaporation method". It is suitable for the determination of the actual colloid content in aviation turbine fuel by means of steam evaporation medium according to the national standard of GB/T 8019-2008.

The condensate is weighed by successively condensing the steam flowing from each outlet to calibrate the flow. Heat the test bath to bring the device into operation. With the condensate collection device attached to this instrument, connect to the three conical air outlets of the test bath, and extend the copper tube of the condensate collection device into a 2-liter graduated cylinder containing crushed ice and weighing. Allow the steam to drain into the graduated cylinder for about 60 seconds. Adjust the position of the graduated cylinder so that the end of the copper tube is immersed in water to a depth of less than 50 mm to prevent excessive backpressure. Weighing the weight of the cylinder, the added weight represents the amount of condensed steam, and the steam flow rate is calculated as follows:

The steam bath control faucet and the steam output faucet of the steam boiler are used to adjust the air supply pressure of the external steam to the instrument, requiring a total steam flow rate of 3000 ml/s in the three evaporation baths, and thus determining the reading of the pressure gauge, which is the steam pressure corresponding to the required flow. Note: Use the above method to determine whether the flow rate of each evaporation bath steam outlet is consistent, if the flow rate of individual outlets changes by more than 150 ml/s, necessary adjustments need to be made. When the steam flow rate of the three outlets is adjusted to 1000 ml ± 150 ml/s, it meets the requirements of the test.

Simple operation

Place the specimen cup, nozzle, thermometer holder, thermometer, etc. Heat the test bath to bring the device into operation. When the temperature reaches 232°C, the superheater is heated and dry steam is slowly introduced into the system until the flow rate of each outlet reaches (1000±150) ml/s. Adjust the bath temperature in the range of (232~246) °C, and adjust the heater to make the evaporation bath temperature (232±3) °C. Note: The temperature needs to be measured with a specified thermometer, and the mercury ball of the thermometer should be inserted into the bottom of the beaker of each evaporation bath hole where the thermometer rack is installed. Note: Any well with a temperature difference greater than 3 °C from 232 °C is not suitable for this method.
